In the February issue of Senior Living Executive Magazine, Steve Wujek, director of public relations, explains managing media in the face of a crisis. In the article, Wujek discusses the devastating hurricanes of 2017 – Harvey, Irma, and Maria – and how they led a number of senior living communities to implement crisis communication plans.

“Before a crisis even occurs, it’s important to develop a crisis management plan that outlines who will be on the crisis team to gather information and facts, asses the current situation, and prepare core messages based on the facts you have,” Wujek says.
