Three Associates Celebrate Milestone with GlynnDevins

In October, three associates celebrated five-year anniversaries with GlynnDevins, which in an ever-changing and evolving business world, is no small achievement. Today’s associates are more apt to explore new challenges more frequently. Most will change jobs more than just a few times over the course of their careers, unless, of course, they find a place that feels like home.

“I like the challenge of developing the brand voice for GlynnDevins’ clients,” said Robert Popper, who, along with fellow associates Emily Harkness and Janice Dannhauser, is celebrating five years with the agency

Popper is an advertising industry veteran who found a place to call home at GlynnDevins first as a senior copywriter, and now as an associate creative director.

“Robert is a virtuoso and can do it all,” said Jeremy Johnson, vice president of creative at GlynnDevins. “He’s done a lot, seen a lot and worked on a load of national accounts.”

When he’s not contributing to a client’s success, Robert can be found taking part in his favorite pastime – fly fishing.

With Emily Harkness, an accounting supervisor, her love for GlynnDevins shows up in her work.

“Emily is a great team player and a conscientious steward for GD when it comes to managing the financial aspects of our client relationships,” said Chris Smith, chief financial officer. “We routinely benefit from her general business aptitude and instincts.”

Harkness also has the claim to fame of being the agency’s number one Chicago Cubs fan, attending Game Seven of the World Series last year in Cleveland.

Janice Dannhauser brings her own brand of skill and passion to her role as direct mail manager, helping execute our clients’ direct mail needs.  This includes everything related to list purchases, file work and working with our vendors who print and mail. Her supervisor, Teresa Carter, vice president, production operations and project management, says she’s been the perfect fit for GlynnDevins.

“We love Janice’s calm disposition, kindness and occasional sass,” she said. “She is a great resource for process help and is always willing to answer questions with a smile on her face.”

Janice is also a long-time animal advocate and has been directly involved in many animal rescues, – found homes for both dogs and cats in the Kansas City area.

Here’s to five years and many more, Robert, Emily and Janice!
